Serbian Philanthropic Forum
Non-formally set up in 2010, Serbian Philanthropic Forum was registered in June 2017 by 13 grant-making organizations for public benefit purposes. By April 2019, number of Serbian Philanthropic Forum constituency rose to 24 members. Based on the initiative of Serbian Philanthropic Forum, National Giving Day has been set up for the first time in 2018 under the auspices of Serbian Prime Minister, as a regular yearly manifestation promoting the culture of giving.
Mission
The main objective of Serbian Philanthropic Forum is to is to advance philanthropy infrastructure and strategically advance visibility and practices of long-term investments rather than one-off philanthropic contributions to community development; but further more to advance the policy and fiscal framework to further stimulate giving, as well as to connect and build capacities, capabilities, credibility and connections of its members.
