NETTZ

Founded in 2017 in response to the regrettably rise in online hate speech, NETTZ is a network seeking to confront the current trend by supporting moral courage on digital media and cultivating a positive debate culture on the internet.

The NETTZ platform provides an overview of existing initiatives and their fields of activities, pools information on the issue, and provides the framework for an exchange among actors while offering support towards innovative action against hate speech. NETTZ is the result of numerous stakeholders in Germany coming together to form a community dedicated to fighting hate speech on the internet and includes Robert Bosch Stiftung and the German Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) among its funders.
