Innovation in Africa-Europe Relations beyond COVID-19
“Innovation in Africa-Europe Relations beyond COVID-19” is a series of events aiming to create a space where new innovations and initiatives to address an equal partnership between Africa and Europe can be discussed.
This event series, co-hosted by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and ODI, and implemented in partnership with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Open Society Foundations will start with an initial event, in December 2020, that will explore the state of relations between the two continents and the role of foundations in supporting human initiatives and policies in African and European communities.
Based upon the outcomes of the first event, it will be followed by three thematic roundtable discussions between January and March 2021, in the run up to the anticipated high-level summit between the African Union and the European Union, that will focus on specific aspects of human mobility in AU-EU relations.
