Forum for Environmental Information
The main objective of the Forum for Environmental Information is to promote the use of scientific environmental information in societal decision making.
The Forum, founded in June 2010, aims at advancing the transfer of timely environmental information and at increasing the interaction between the producers and users of information. The objective of the forum is to support national policy making, keeping in mind the global significance of environmental problems.
The Forum aims to:
- Establish fruitful communication and discussion among environmental researchers and end users
- Organise seminars, workshops, and other events
- Combine forces rather than to divide them by organising several small, competing events
The Forum is a collaboration between the Maj and Tor Nessling Foundation and the Kone Foundation.
