Counting Sex Workers In!
The Counting Sex Workers In! campaign sought puts a spotlight on sex worker-led advocacy and highlight the voices and perspectives of sex workers of all genders so as to advance understanding that sex workers’ rights are human rights and a feminist issue.
The campaign, by the The Count Me In! Consortium, ran from the 26 October to 10 November and called attention to the frequent experiences of discrimination, harassment and violence experienced by sex workers by starting conversations, offering resources and encouraging solidarity for sex workers and sex workers’ rights.
The Count Me In! consortium is led by Mama Cash, and includes the Red Umbrella Fund, CREA, the Association for Women’s Rights in Development, Just Associates, the Urgent Action Fund – Africa, and WO=MEN.
